It can inspire and create a new generation of volunteers, enthuse people to further develop their interests in volunteering and showcase the strength of community spirit in Northern Ireland.

Become a 2012 Games Time Volunteer

The recruitment for the Games will commence in July 2010 and the London 2012 organisers are pledging to recruit from right across the UK and from all sectors of the community. With a transparent, open and fair process their goal is to select applicants who will bring passion, enthusiasm and energy to the Games.

It is anticipated that up to 70,000 volunteers will be engaged during the Games. They will carry out a range of essential tasks, from medical, spectator services and technology to press operations, transport and accreditation.

The involvement and contribution of volunteers, with their skill, commitment and enthusiasm will be a vital component in delivering an unforgettable experience for athletes, officials and spectators alike.
