Volunteer Now's youth team are keen to work with organisations to develop and promote volunteering opportunities which would suit young people aged 14+.
Young people are increasingly keen to volunteer and those who are aged 14 and above are sometimes the most committed and enthusiastic. They are keen to learn, self motivated, full of ideas and energy and have fewer distractions than the older age groups. Many organisations already involve young volunteers in a wide variety of roles and have found that the perceived barriers, such as insurance, Access NI etc don't exist.
