European Day of Solidarity between Generations

AGE – we’re all connected!

This is an opportunity forschools/youth/church/community groups to host an intergenerational/age-friendly short project or one-off eventon or around Tuesday 29th April 2014.

You could …

  • Host a discussion/debate
  • Share some food and games
  • Organise a sporting/dancing activity
  • Have a session of arts and crafts/music activities
  • Host a talent show
  • Hold an Intergenerational fashion show
  • Have a digital photography session

or... anything that will bring together people of ALL ages to discover what they have in common, share and learn skills, create dialogue and better understanding between the generations and of course have FUN!

Funding of up to £200 is available.

Even though the number of grants available is limited we would still urge you to do something to celebrate this day and if you have already planned an activity, please let us know about it!
