Charity Commission for NI Consultation

04 February 2015

The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland has opened a public consultation on new equality guidance for Northern Ireland charities.

The guidance, and information on the consultation, can be viewed on their website.

The draft Equality Guidance for Charities, developed with the assistance of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, does not mark a change in the law but, rather, is designed to help charity trustees understand the complex legal environment in which they work.

They would like to hear from a wide variety of individuals and organisations, and your views and feedback will shape the final guidance, informing them of gaps and areas for improvement.

The consultation will run from Tuesday 3 February 2015, for 12 weeks, closing at 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2015.
