BBC Local Appeals Advisory Committee

01 June 2015

BBC Northern Ireland are currently seeking to appoint new members to the BBC's Local Appeals Advisory Committee.

They have just begun a recruitment exercise for new members of the Local Appeals Advisory Committee. Up to six vacancies are available, most of them with immediate effect.

They need people with a diverse mix of skills and expertise who can assist the work of the BBC Children in Need and the allocation of Broadcast Appeals slots on BBCNI television, radio and online. Members should have knowledge of the community and voluntary sectors, including issues affecting children and young people.

Committee membership involves a time commitment of between 6-8 days per year. These roles are unpaid but all reasonable travel and out of pocket expenses will be met.

Appointments to the Committee will be independently assessed.
