BCM's Volunteer Forum Celebration

16 July 2015

BCM’s Volunteer Forum took place on 12 June and included a tour of the Crumlin Road Gaol followed by a special celebration lunch at Grosvenor House (BCM’s HQ) to say thank you for all their support during the year.

BCM’s volunteers have many roles, including: befriending; helping at Tea Dances and the weekly lunch club for older people; assisting with a summer scheme for children with autism; taking part in fundraising activities and the annual Christmas programme which distributes toys and food parcels to children, families and older people in the community.

Janet Sewell, BCM’s Community Services Manager said, “The volunteers make my work special.  They humble you with their positive attitude and how they give of their time so freely.  They make such a difference to so many peoples’ lives.”
