Rosie's Trust Recruitment Drive & Fundraiser

01 October 2015

Rosie's Trust is a charity set up to keep people who are terminally ill, suffering the side effects of acute cancer treatment or elderly and their pets together.

At Rosie's Trust, they aim to alleviate the stresses and anxieties experienced by animal owners who find themselves no longer able to care for their companion pets in a practical way.

They recently held an event in Bloomfield Shopping Centre, to raise awareness of the charity as there is no other charity in Northern Ireland who offer these services. They are also trying to raise money for a new van, as well as recruiting some new volunteers.

Volunteer Now went along to support them and help raise their profile throughout Northern Ireland. They also has some support from Ulster Rugby and their mascot Sparky was there to donate a prize from the Club.
