The Craft & Design Collective Seeks New Board Members

11 October 2016

The Craft & Design Collective is currently in the process of becoming a Company Limited by Guarantee and is seeking charitable status. Successful applicants will become the first directors of the new company.

The Craft & Design Collective was formed in 1997 and has had great successes over the past 20 years.  We have taken time over the past 2 years to complete a thorough review of our organisation.  We have consulted our members and stakeholders to obtain their views on opportunities for our organisation to change and develop.  By restructuring our organisation we believe that our impact will push the boundaries and deliver increased value to our members, the sector and the wider public.

We have recently received support from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to develop a ‘Centre for Craft, Applied Art and Design’ or ‘Craft Hub’ for Northern Ireland in Belfast.

If you are interested in this exciting new development and would like to play a part in making it happen then this could be the opportunity for you.
