Free merchandise available and see what we're up to!

LogoThe countdown is on to 1-7 June 2017, the biggest week in the volunteering calendar which recognises the contribution of local volunteers.  Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of volunteering and we hope you and your organisation will join in and help to make this Volunteers’ Week one of the best to date.

Volunteers’ Week is your chance to celebrate and recognise local volunteers in your communities and challenge people to take part.

Volunteers' Week 2017 will be a busy one for Volunteer Now

Along with key partners we will be launching a social media campaign to encourage organisations to "Tap into Untapped Resources" and consider promoting opportunities to people with disabilities. Did you know that only 3% of people with disabilities in NI volunteer. We want to change this and will also be encouraging people with disabilities to "Give it a Go"!.

Train and Bus Week in partnership with Translink

This also takes place during Volunteers' Week so if you are travelling from Ballymena, Newry, Belfast Central and Belfast Europa please come and say hello!

Council's Support for Volunteering

Our Councils are wonderful ambassadors for volunteering and during the week we will be promoting volunteering opportunities within each of our Councils along with a word from the Mayor / Council.

Recognition and Giving It A Go!

Over 15 further events are being supported where people are either being recognised for their invaluable commitment or supported to volunteer.

Free Merchandise and Resources

Volunteer involving organisations throughout Northern Ireland are invited to order Certificates and Banners and download FREE resources to help them recognise and thank their volunteers as part of Volunteers’ Week 1 - 7 June 2017.
