Telephone operator for "Good Morning North West" providing a week-day service from Monday to Friday : 9am - 2pm

Good Morning North West in Galliagh is an invaluable service to elderly and vulnerable people who often feel isolated and lonely. We do home visits and work with organisations such as Social Services, Housing Executive and Derry City Council.

Good communication skills and a caring and happy nature would be ideal qualities for this opportunity. The volunteer should understand the importance of confidentiality due to the nature of the work. If you can spare 2 hours a week, this may be the opportunity for you!

Travel by car will be reimbursed at 40p per mile. Bus fares will be reimbursed only on receipt of tickets. In certain circumstances we may be able to pay taxi fares.
