Best Practice and Training

One of the main findings from the research the Unlocking Potential project has commissioned to date is that older people like to have an opportunity to try volunteering with an organisation without feeling under any pressure to make a long term commitment immediately.

The project has produced a best practice checklist for organisations wishing to increase their involvement of older volunteers.

Training has been developed, click here for details of when this training is next available or email natasha.weatherall@volunteernow.co.uk to express your interest.

Involving Older People as Volunteers Training
