Investing in Volunteers is the UK Quality Standard for all organisations which involve volunteers in their work.
Whether your volunteer programme is well established or just developing, Investing in Volunteers offers you a benchmark of 46 practices for effective volunteer management - an invaluable FREE resource for ALL volunteer involving organisations!
If your annual income is under £100,000, Volunteer Now could provide you with a free “healthcheck” against the Standard. For more information contact Sandra.Faulkner@volunteernow.co.uk
The Health Check fee for registered charities with an income over £100,00 is £350 + VAT and £500 + VAT for statutory/public organisations. For more information or to arrange a Health Check contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The Volunteer Management Health Check involves a consultation with a quality standards assessor who will benchmark your volunteer programme against the practices in the UK Investing in Volunteers Standard. A report will then be complied for your organisation, which will include a development plan and actions to assist you in building on your existing volunteer management to meet identified gaps.

Or why not take your commitment to quality a step further? By being assessed against the Standard, your organisation can publicly demonstrate its commitment to good practice and receive a National Award for quality in volunteer management.
