This is a two day course in the specialist field of volunteer management. Managing volunteers is very different from managing staff and requires a different approach. This course examines these differences and provides guidance focusing on:
It provides the key skills and knowledge for development as a volunteer management specialist and to inform how an effective and supportive volunteer programme should be structured.
The course is stand alone but links closely to Recruitment and Selection of Volunteers information and builds on the key topics covered.
Courses are available as accredited and unaccredited options. OCNNI accreditation is 3 credits at level 2.
