Keeping Adults Safe: An Introduction

This is a 3 hour course suitable for staff and volunteers who have limited and/or indirect contact with adults (e.g. cleaner, receptionist).

This course covers:

  • legal and policy context;
  • values and principles;
  • key definitions;
  • categories of abuse and possible indicators;
  • procedures for reporting concerns; and
  • code of behaviour for staff/volunteers.

 

PLEASE NOTE: this training will be provided for Voluntary, Community and Independent sectors and a maximum of 5 participants from any one organisation will be accepted on to each training course.
