Keeping Children and Adults Safe: Recognising, Responding and Reporting

This session will increase awareness and knowledge of:

• the legal and policy context of safeguarding;
• categories of abuse and possible indicators;
• how to deal with a disclosure of abuse;
• the procedures for reporting concerns; and
• a code of behaviour when working with children and/or adults.

 

PLEASE NOTE THIS SESSION IS FOR GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS OPERATING IN THE BELFAST CITY COUNCIL AREA ONLY.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are limited to a maximum of 5 per organisation.
