Keeping Children Safe: An Introduction

This is a 3 hour basic awareness course for those working with children and young people.

This course covers:

  • legal context for keeping children safe
  • types of abuse including online, grooming and exploitation
  • signs and indicators
  • procedures for reporting concerns
  • relevance of code of behaviour for staff/volunteers eg: e-safety issues.

 

Keeping Children Safe Training is delivered by accredited trainers with experience of safeguarding issues.

Participants receive a certificate on completion of the full course.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are limited.
