Unlocking Potential Research

Would you like to support a major piece of research on volunteering in older people? the first of it's kind in Ireland .

Volunteer Now and the University of Ulster are undertaking a longtitudinal research study to measure the impact of volunteering on the self rated health of those aged 50+ over an 18 month period.

The benefits of being linked to this research will include direct involvement in a major piece of research which will help to advance knowledge of the impact of volunteering on health, provide free publicity for your organisation and will give you access to free training.

INDIVIDUALS : If you are over 50+ and volunteer role we'd like you to take part in the study.

ORGANISATIONS : All we ask is that your organisation distributes a participant pack to all volunteers who are aged 50+.

We are particularly interested in hearing from those who are new to volunteering / starting a new volunteer role.
