Keeping Adults Safe: Adult Safeguarding Champion and Appointed Person Training.

Are you responsible for dealing with adult safeguarding issues which arise through the work of your organisation? This certified course is for you! It will provide useful information and guidance on your role and responsibilities as Champion or Appointed Person, as outlined in the NI Adult Safeguarding Policy and Procedures. It will help you determine the correct course of action in relation to safeguarding referrals and explore issues of consent, capacity, and coercion. It will also cover Health and Social Care Trust structures and processes.

Some recent feedback on this course ‘Enjoyed this event, informative and applicable. Great training, well paced, scenarios well picked’.

It is strongly recommended that you complete an adult safeguarding awareness course prior to attending this one,  preferably Volunteer Now’s ‘Creating a Safe Environment’ course. Check our training calendar for available dates!

Places allocated in a first come, first served basis.
