Peatland Habitat Management Day

Can you help spare some time to help Ulster Wildlife with invasive species removal at one of our important peatland habitat sites?

We are looking willing helpers to come and lift small conifer trees from the peatland site.

Trees act like giant natural straws or pumps. Their roots pull massive amounts of water out of the ground and release it into the air and as healthy peatlands need to stay waterlogged to survive, these trees need removed before they get too big.
