Inclusion in Volunteer Programmes – New Research Report

Inclusion in Volunteer Programmes Research Report

Volunteer Ireland and Volunteer Now have launched a new research report looking at inclusion in volunteering.  The research was conducted by Dublin City University and Queens University Belfast.  The work was funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Shared Island Civic Society Fund (SICSF).

The report explores the experiences of a range of organisations on the island of Ireland that have successfully built an inclusive volunteering team and looks at the learning from their experiences.  The strong message is that good practice in volunteer involvement is fundamental to building an inclusive team.
