Research launch: Inclusion in volunteering programmes
Join us for the launch of new research on inclusion in volunteer programmes. This research explores best practice in inclusion in volunteer programmes exploring areas like motivation, support, recognition and barriers. The session will also explore next steps based on the research including training and a toolkit with practical guidance on embedding inclusion in your volunteer programme.
The research will be presented by Dr Conor Scully, a researcher at Dublin City University who developed the report. It will be followed by a Q&A on the topic where Conor will be joined by Nina Arwitz, CEO, Volunteer Ireland and Denise Hayward, CEO, Volunteer Now.
This session is jointly presented by Volunteer Ireland and Volunteer Now based on research carried out by Dublin City University and Queens University, funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
