Keeping Children and Adults Safe: Creating a Safe Environment Refresher
This integrated training programme is a refresher aimed at those who engage with children, young people and adults at risk.
This online refresher covers legal and policy context, categories of abuse and possible indicators, dealing with a disclosure, reporting concerns, dealing with an allegation against a staff member/volunteer, safe recruitment and selection procedures, effective management procedures, programme planning, risk assessment, and code of behaviour. This session is aimed at those planning and managing services/activities for children and adults.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are limited to a maximum of 5 per organisation.
