This is a face to face safeguarding training in Belfast.
Keeping Children and Adults Safe: Training for Staff and Volunteers is aimed at those who engage with children, young people and adults at risk.
It covers:
- Legal context and policy context of safeguarding children and adults
- Awareness of vulnerability
- Awareness of abuse issues
- Procedures for reporting concerns
- Procedures for creating a safe environment and assessing and managing risk
- Confidentiality
- Code of behaviour for staff/volunteers.
