On Tuesday 17th October 2023at 10:00am The Lewy Body Society are holding an event with a difference… and are inviting people to join them at Waterfront Hall Belfast for A Scarf for Lewy!

They need AT LEAST 100 volunteers to help hold a scarf and proudly tell the world about Lewy Body dementia. Volunteers are also needed to help sort scarves, carry bags and help with publicity on the day. By being there and proudly showing your scarf you will help raise awareness of Lewy Body dementia – “The most common type of dementia you have never heard of”.  The Lewy Body Society will also have VIPs and the Lord Mayor of Belfast supporting this positive and family friendly event.  They would welcome people both knitting and bringing their own scarves on the day – you will have fun and meet many people affected by the second most common form of dementia. They need YOUR help to raise awareness of Lewy Body dementia.
