From the point of diagnosis Cancer Fund for Children’s team of Cancer Support Specialists are here to help, guide and support families at home, in their community, and at their therapeutic short break and residential centre in Newcastle, Co. Down. Their support is focused not just on the young person, but on the whole family. Their aim is to empower, connect and strengthen them, so they feel equipped to deal with whatever the future may hold.

This years Bog Run is taking place on Sunday 20th October in Castlewellan Forest Park. This annual event is great fun and has over 500 participants taking part in the run.  Volunteers are needed to help with the following:

* Managing the car parking

* Helping participants with directions and putting any personal items (phones, keys) into an named envelope and keeping secure

* Supporting staff with registration

* Any other jobs needing done on the day.
