Hallowe’en is a time when the veil between the mortal world and the spirit world is at its thinnest, allowing spirits, fairies, and other supernatural entities to cross over and interact with the living…

Help visitors discover the origins, traditions and customs of the spookiest time of year, a celebration derived from the Celtic festival of Samhain, and experience a traditional Hallowe’en at the Folk Museum from Saturday 28th to Tuesday 31st October 2023.

Volunteers are needed to help with…

• Supporting staff with food demonstrations and providing food samples to visitors. (Colcannon, Apple Pies or Bambrack)
• Halloween Craft – Supporting with children’s craft activities
• Orientation – wayfinding in the Diamond Area
• Lunch Cover – Helping with wayfinding until lunch cover is needed to cover all roles.
