The Inniskillings Museum welcomes you to its Volunteer Recruitment Day on Saturday 4th February 2023.   Join their enthusiastic volunteers for an exclusive sneak peek behind the scenes. Discover your passion and meet representatives in each area (History & Learning; Research; Vehicles; Media; Collection & Archives; and Visitor Experience).   All volunteers will be provided with training!

Drop in anytime between 11:00am and 4:00pm.

Refreshments available.

Please note that due to the nature of the building, some areas of The Inniskillings Museum may not be accessible for those with mobility issues.

There are volunteering opportunities to suit everyone (click the link for more details):

• Research Team: help their research team respond to informal and formal research requests from throughout the world
• Media Team: photograph galleries, events, and items in the collection, or help to design promotional posters and stock for the Quartermaster’s Store
• History & Learning Team: dig deeper into the history of the Inniskillings and share your findings with the public
• Vehicles Team: research vintage vehicles, to take them to events, or to repair faults when needed
• Visitor Experience Team: interact with the public directly and gain experience in tourism and retail
• Collection & Archives Team: help to care for the collection and work closely with some of the museum’s famous artefacts
