Edited 3 July: There are a few roles left in Derry/Londonderry at the Bus station and Train Station from Sunday 14th July – Sunday 21st July, each shift during the week will be from 6am – 12noon.
The volunteers’ role at the station is to meet and greet visitors travelling to The Open, providing them with a warm and friendly welcome while they are on their journey to Portrush and answering any questions (as best they can) they might have. All volunteers will receive training prior to the event, there is also a volunteer uniform of cap, two long sleeve t-shirts, bib, ready for golf pin and drawstring bag. We will be reimbursing volunteers up to £6 for food and refreshments per shift. If a volunteer completes 4 shifts they will be entitled to receive a ticket to one of the Championship days at the Open (Thursday 18th July – Sunday 21st July).
If you’d like to get involved please email email@example.com as soon as possible.
