Global Intergenerational Week 2022 (25th April – 1st May)

Linking Generations NI (LGNI) are passionate about supporting connections between generations in communities and would love your group, organisation, community or setting to get involved!

LGNI are leading for NI on Global Intergenerational Week 2022 (25th April – 1st May) and you can join in! Check out their webpage for all information on the week Global Intergenerational Week – Linking Generations NI and add your logo to the Supporters page!

During the week they are running two online events:

Celebrating LGNI’s Intergenerational Champions 28th April 10:30am  – 12:30pm – LGNI’s network infrastructure and capacity building activities act a vital catalyst for the development of local intergenerational ideas.  Come along to find out about the amazing achievements and inspiring stories of some of our LGNI Intergenerational Champions – schools, colleges, care settings and communities!  Register to attend here 

Getting Together to Grow, Eat & Cook 26th April 12:30pm -1:30pm – Bring your lunch and come along to our Food Themed event showcasing inspiring stories, examples, and ideas of intergenerational growing cooking and eating activities as part of the Food for Life Get Togethers Project. Hear from schools, housing, care settings and many more about the amazing activities they have been up too!  Register to attend here 

They have created an Intergenerational Ideas Guide with suggested activities your school can get involved in to celebrate Global Intergenerational Week – available to download here

They have also created a fun Easter Egg Activity that can be used to make intergenerational connections –  available to download here
