Our Offices Are Closed But We Are Still Working!

IN LIGHT OF THE RECENT GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT WE ARE NOW FULLY IMPLEMENTING OUR WORKING FROM HOME PLAN WHICH WILL BE IN FULL EFFECT BY END OF BUSINESS 24/03/2020

We had started to implement our Working From Home (WFH) plan prior to the Government’s announcement based on our monitoring of the situation over the last number of days, and had approximately 80% of our staff, their related roles and projects already working from home before the announcement was made and had planned to move the remainder over next number of days.

However, in light of this new announcement we now plan to have the remaining 20% completed by close of play today, Tuesday 24th March 2020.

What does that mean for you?

Essentially the majority of services we offer and our methods of contact will remain unchanged,

Face to face meetings will be replaced by telephone contact or through conferencing apps if more than two people need to be part of the conversation.

You will be able to call the same phone number for Belfast 028 9023 2020, email the same email addresses and everything should continue to work in the same way.

Our contact methods have NOT changed!

We would also like to mention that… we will be continuing to respond to emails and telephone calls as normal, staff will be working from home but we will be linked in through conference calls and emails to ensure that we continue to work as a team to deliver our objectives.

Community Projects Team will be providing a telephone befriending service for vulnerable older people as well as a telephone check in service for our driving clients, Senior Citizens Forum members and other older people referred through BHSCT.

We will also continue to monitor and update everyone over the coming days and weeks but equally encourage anyone to contact us with any additional queries they may have.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff, volunteers and clients for their continued support at this time and wish everyone to remain in good health during this uncertain period of time.

Best wishes and stay safe.
