Parenting Week 2021

This week (18-22 October) is Parenting Week and this year the theme Reset and Reconnect has been chosen.  The concept was driven by a group of parents who thought this was a great opportunity to pause, reset and reconnect – given the past year and the increasing numbers of parents and families who have found themselves isolated due to the pandemic.  We are encouraging parents to reconnect with their extended family, friends, social networks, faith groups, child’s school.. even to disconnect from the devices for a day and reconnect with nature – the opportunities are endless.

Parenting NI have also just launched their bi annual Big Parenting Survey, which aims to seek a wide demographic of parents views from across Northern Ireland.  The more responses received, the more the data can be used to seek change.  Please complete the survey here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/R73Q586
