Faith-Based Youth Volunteering: Train the Trainer Programme: an OCNNI Level 3 ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification. Please note that attendance is required on both days.
This new EANI funded ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification from OCNNI has been written by Volunteer Now in partnership with Youth Initiatives & Youth Link especially to support Churches and Faith-based organisations to attract, recruit, retain and manage the volunteers who work with and lead children and young people in their organisations; providing attendees with the information and resources needed to then deliver the training to others across their whole organisation.
Course Highlights:
- Master the latest best practice in volunteer recruitment, onboarding, support, management, safety and succession planning to boost and promote your youth
volunteering programmes
- Explore how aspects faith and service can impact the volunteering experience and how we can use this knowledge to promote volunteer wellbeing and longevity
- Share and learn with peers from other faith-based organisation, build a network of
support to help you find the faith-appropriate resources and information you need rise to the challenges of modern youth volunteering
Training takes places over two days, 14th January and 15th January 2026 in Volunteer Now’s Training Room. Lunch will be provided.
