Volunteer Policy – Your Starting or Review Point!

This session looks at a framework to help guide you in the content and theory of policy development, review.   The Investing in Volunteers UK Quality standard for volunteer involving organisations states that organisations should have a ‘written policy on volunteer involvement that sets out the organisation’s values for volunteer involvement and highlights the need for procedures for managing volunteers, based on principles of inclusion, diversity equity, and equality.’   Learn how to get buy in from staff and volunteers while covering all the key elements.
