2019 Belfast City Marathon

The 2019 event will be held on Sunday 5th May 2019 and all events will start at Stormont and finish at Ormeau Park with the exception of the Fun Run which will start and finish at Ormeau Park.   Over 17,000 participants are expected to hit the streets of North, South, East and West of the City.


Volunteer opportunities on the big day include (click for more info):

Volunteer Now’s Events Team need volunteers to help with marshaling, water stations, distribution of packs and medals at the start/finish areas and to support the transport team along the route.


Belfast Arthroplasty Research Trust (BART) need volunteers to man their stand at the Charity Village in Ormeau Park, photograph their team, man the 1st water station on the route (Albertbridge Road) and support their participants around the course.


Cancer Focus Northern Ireland need volunteers to cheer their runners along


Nexus NI – join their Cheer Squad in Belfast as they bring the noise encouraging their supporters
