Interested in safeguarding training for your organisation? Volunteer Now provides a unique suite of online and face to face safeguarding modules which give participants the opportunity to explore the current, relevant issues in safeguarding, including legislation, statistics and best practice.

Volunteer Now delivers Keeping Children Safe training, Keeping Adults Safe training, and integrated Keeping Children and Adults Safe training for those organisations working with both children and adults. We can provide training at all levels within your organisation. Some of the training modules available include:

• Training for staff and volunteers
• Recruitment, selection and management of staff and volunteers
• Policy Development
• Designated Officer Training
• Adult Safeguarding Champion: Meeting the Requirements (online module)

• Training the Trainers

We can deliver tailored training where we come to you and deliver a course suited to your organisation’s needs or you can browse through the menu of training available on our training calendar.

Training is free or reasonably priced and is delivered by qualified and quality assured trainers. Keeping Children Safe training meets the Department of Health endorsed Keeping Children Safe: Our Duty to Care standards and the Safeguarding Board for Northern Ireland’s Learning and Development Strategy.  Keeping Adults Safe training meets the Department of Health endorsed Keeping Adults Safe: A Shared Responsibility minimum standards and links to the Northern Ireland Adult Safeguarding Partnership’s Training Strategy and Framework.
