What inspired you to get involved?
My brother introduced me to volunteering.

What does your volunteering involve?

• Helping customers
• Sorting Bric-à-brac into colours.
• Keeping the shop clean and tidy
• Using the till with someone present at all times.
• Help staff putting clothes out on rails.

What skills or qualities are required for your volunteering role?

Team skills, customers skills.

What do you enjoy most about volunteering and what has been your highlight?

Learning and developing my skills: and gaining new experience to use in the future and to learn more about the Red Cross.

Why would you encourage others to become a Millennium Volunteer and what advice would you give them?

To get experience and meet new people. To learn them to socialise and help the community.
